Later, at Roosevelt High School in Washington, D.C., they held an audition for a new member and met 16-year-old Martha Harvin. In this area there are flats in converted white stucco and red-brick terraces and Twenties houses in wide tree-lined roads. The majority of sales in Folkestone during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £275,841. Flats sold for an average of £207,401, with semi-detached properties fetching £354,395.
And not just for this hunt, but for any that I work on. Realize, I’m just sharing thoughts on a never-ending journey. Across education, research, service, community engagement and the economy, Brown is deeply intertwined with the city we call home.
Life & Style
HOUSE OF BROWN is a second label offspring of Brown Estate, Napa Valley’s first Black-owned estate winery. As our brand has attracted a terrifically diverse consumer base over the last 25+ years, a vibrant community and dynamic culture have coalesced in our ecosystem. HOUSE OF BROWN, created to expand access to the Brown wine experience, is an homage to our Come one, come all (come correct!) ethos. The poem is not a cypher, so I’d be careful about constructing the word bury by ommittimg letters.
So the home of Brown cannot be the place of brown trout or brown trees or brown sand or brown anything. Brown is capitalized and with good reason - because it is the marker of a specific thing, allowing us to continue forward in confidence while on this modern day treasure hunt. WWWH – Not far, but too far to walk – HOB – No place for the meek?? Just like most of the things he also says that we all consider of any help. 🙂 And he architected it in such a way that we WILL get frustrated over and over, although also enjoying the thrill of the chase, before we ever get close, …..most likely.

But rest assured, I’m very confident in my solution, whether you understand my “thought process” or not. If I explained it all you would be “amazed” and “in awe,” as Forrest has said. My dear fellow, I do believe that is enough though John, because you just really haven’t presented a very compelling case.
When he says that the clues must be followed in order he is correct, each clue builds upon the last one. You must solve one clue in order to solve the next clue. That DOES NOT mean that after you have solved most or all of the clues that you must take the same physical route to get to the end area.
MW INTERVIEW: Dr. Dan Laird on Opioid Conspiracy
Jack Loeffler was best friends with Edward Abbey, if you have some down time during the off-season it is worth researching “Cactus Ed” and read his book “Desert Solitaire”. There are many similarities to how Ed passing and to Forrest Fenn. Forrest has never said what the first clue is. He has, at different times, started reading the Poem at WWWH; but never in any way that can be construed as answering the question of which is clue #1 or where to start. In order to read the Poem in a straightforward manner, you have to start with stanza 1. Example; If a line/sentence in the poem read as, Put in below The Big Apple.
Some claim it is near Denver while others point toward Salt Lake City or even Idaho. The only certainty is that it is far from Fenn's home in Kentucky. This and other stories like one in the San Francisco Reporter headlined Stealing the Past have led some to believe the treasure and the story behind it are all made up. That no one has found the treasure and that Fenn has done all this as a publicity stunt. Many have attempted to find the treasure, some have even died in the process of looking for it. A Colorado Springs man also sued Fenn because he suspected Fenn gave him “fraudulent statements” about the treasure’s location.
SEARCH
The blaze clue is only about half way into the poem. There are several more clues and a long distance yet to get to the chest, IMO. Or even when they think they have a solution to what the HOB is, they begin looking all around in that area for the blaze or even a clue to the actual chest. In my searches (and I’ve been on the ground dozens of times) most of the clues, except for the ones in the last two stanzas, are each over 10 miles apart.
Many sincere searchers have been turned off from the blogs by such statements. No wants to say they think they know where the chest is anymore. Don’t we still have free speech on these forums? If saying that upsets so many people they aren’t cut out for the competition of this search.
Home implies more of a residence or permanent living area and I think we need mofre to tie Grafton Brown to this area. From what I was able to tell, Brown lived mostly in San Francisco and on the East Coast. I hope this message gets posted now before the treasure is found, but it may not be possible due to time dilation and other “sciencey” things I don’t understand about time travel.
About 90% comes from Asia; the continent eats far more of it than anyone else, with many countries stocking up to ensure people don’t go hungry. A woman cooking biryani in West Bengal, India. Rice-based dishes are a staple of people’s diets throughout Asia. The secret to injecting more nutrition into the common diet, he discovered, were already there in the varieties of rice the country’s farmers had been growing for centuries.
I am not physically able to quickly get to the spot because my progress is not faster than 1 mile per hour. They are finally approaching both on the left of each other to a final double omega… In my humble opinion and boots on the ground. I must now go the 80-year old trip (and it is not for the meek but is for the 4-wheel drive). A truck was not available until after 9/3 to rent locally; I drove approximately 1700 miles one way in a rental small car. Disappointed but determined I am now planning ahead with reservations, lol… Wish me luck or is that bad luck? But these machines also polished the grain so much they removed the bran and turned brown rice, which was the most commonly consumed variety at the time, into white.
